Little Jammers

Little Jammers is our signature music class for infants, designed around the belief that every child is born musical. Drawing on well-established traditions in early childhood music education, the programme recognises that the first years of life represent the most fertile period for musical development. When babies are immersed in rhythm, melody, and movement from the very beginning, they are not only building an ear for music β€” they are strengthening their capacity for language, memory, social connection, and emotional expression. Our sessions follow the child’s natural tempo, with no pressure to perform and no right or wrong way to join in. What matters is the experience of music as something joyful, shared, and deeply familiar.

β€’ Rhythm activities using soft drums, wooden spoons, and everyday objects to explore beat and pulse in a playful, hands-on way

β€’ Object permanence games such as peek-a-boo with scarves and hiding toys under cups and blankets to support cognitive development whilst keeping babies thoroughly entertained
β€’ Movement and dance to lively music with scarves and ribbons, getting little bodies moving, clapping, and swaying β€” building gross motor skills and a natural feeling for musical pulse

Child-centred Play Therapy (CCPT)

Child-Centred Play Therapy (CCPT) offers children a safe, consistent space to express what they may not yet have the words for. Through play β€” the natural language of childhood β€” children are able to process emotions, work through difficult experiences, and make sense of the world around them at their own pace. The therapist’s role is not to direct or interpret, but to follow the child’s lead with acceptance and care, creating the conditions in which children naturally move towards healing, self-understanding, and growth.

What to expect:
β€’ Emotional expression and regulation: children are supported in identifying, expressing, and managing feelings in a safe and non-judgmental environment
β€’ Trauma processing: a gentle, child-led approach allows difficult experiences to be explored and processed without pressure or re-traumatisation
β€’ Self-esteem and confidence: through autonomy, choice, and unconditional acceptance, children develop a stronger, more secure sense of self
β€’ Communication skills: verbal and nonverbal expression are naturally developed as children find their own ways to communicate within the therapeutic space
β€’ Social skills: cooperative play and the therapeutic relationship build foundations for empathy, communication, and conflict resolution
β€’ Problem-solving: the freedom to experiment and make choices within sessions builds creative thinking and the confidence to approach challenges
β€’ Parent-child relationship: parents are kept informed throughout the process, and progress in therapy often brings meaningful improvements to family communication and connection
Session structure
CCPT is offered as individual one-to-one sessions for children aged 3–12. Each session runs for 50 minutes, with weekly appointments recommended for continuity and therapeutic progress. A full treatment plan typically comprises 12–16 sessions, though this is always guided by the individual needs of the child.
